Well, what shall I say about this awesome Masterpiece of Metal? I think the title speaks for itself, and Iīm sure almost everybody of you knows these Canadian Metalheads!! But thereīs a difference between "Metal on Metal" and the newer stuff like "Speed of Sound" or "Absolutly no alternativ"! While ANVIL have been more into Speed Metal on their last Album, this one shows them rockinī like Hell! Sometimes it reminds me very much to the JUDAS PRIEST Stuff from 78-81 !! Awesome!!! The Titeltrack is one of the most killing Metal Hymns of all times, and for sure all the other Songs like "Mothra", "Jackhammer", "Scenery" or for sure the evil Number "666", all are killing, none are thrilling!!! Did you know that a lot of other Metal Bands were influenced by ANVIL? The most famous ones are METALLICA (meanwhile known as the METALLICATS, Ha Ha)! Itīs cool to see that ANVIL are still alive today īthough they never had a kind of big success! A lot of people have the opinion that ANVIL copy themselfes on every record, but I canīt see a problem with that! Why is it wrong to make the same record 3-4 times when it has always the power, the might, and the Metal to rule?? I think thatīs better than turning to Mainstream Rock Posers, just like the METALLICATS!!! You should find this record on nearly every Metal Market, and like all the other ANVIL records, youīll get it for an absolutly cheap price!!! METAL ON METAL, IT`S THE ONLY WAY, TO HELL WITH TOMORROW, LET`S LIVE FOR TODAY!!!
