Here is a monster from Canada, maybe the most wanted (behind RAZORs "Armed and Dangerous")! It has a very nice drawn black/white cover showing a fair maiden before her castle and a brave knight leaving her and riding into battle... The most unbelievable thing about "In days of Heavy Metal" is that it really has been released in 1982!! It was way ahead of it's time! Above all the title track: an epic metal hymn that is a must to hear!! Amazing vocals, great guitar work and absolutely fantastic songwriting! The other tracks on side A also deliver very good stuff, and "Satan's Lyre" with it's haunting chorus is a classic!!! To make it short: This record is nothing less than a must to have for all you true metal maniacs reading this! But it will of course be not easy to get: 1.100 pieces have been pressed, half of them have been sold to europe so here it may be even easier to get than in Canada/USA! But it will be a long search in every way, good luck on your journey...
Shaky (the guitar-player) released some LPs with LAWSUITE after BREAKER split up, nothing exciting I think. By the way: before BREAKER released the "In days of..." EP the band had the name IRON HEAD. At the time there were no releases but 1998 O.P.M. Records rereleased a limited edition 7" of IRON HEAD that I also recommend to buy as long as it can be found. Hurry!
