This record is limited to only 1.200 pcs. (others say: 500 pcs.) worldwide what makes it to another US top-rarity. That leads to another very high price. That leads to much interest within the collectors circles. That leads to an even higher price... Most important question: Is this piece of vinyl worth it's majestic value? Hell yes, it is! EMERALD deliver midtempo US Metal in the best tradition, not very hard but with a real good singer! The keyboards do not play an important role (thank god!), but for pure Power Metal Maniacs "Armed for Battle" may be a bit too less aggressive. However, it is an all in all very good record, the tracks on side two have an epic majestic touch and >Winds of Doom< is the best track among classics. No doubt, they "fight the good fight" (>Armed for Battle<)! They look a bit like posers but offer us real metal (although they thank God as "#1 rocker of all time" on the backcover, grzbrrrr. Not that I have anything against any god or religion, but messages like "if it's to loud - you're too old" are defintley more metal...). Catch it if you can!!
