This band has frequently been compared to FATES WARNNING. Stylistic that is okay. But: ADRAMELCH is more Metal and above all: BETTER! No, this is not a joke. Only "Awaken the Guardian" can share with "Irae Melanox". All other releases of the so called Progressive Metal Gods are left miles behind ADRAMELCHS debut. It is really undescribeable: "Irae Melanox" is one of those (few) records that can only be marked as MAGIC. The atmophere, that is created through epic, progressive, in parts rapid metal in combination with classic, is more than impressive. Unfortunately the record was only released on the small italian Discomagic-label in a minor quantity, today as rare as the proverbial needle in the haystack. If in good condition 300 DM and more are demanded for "Irae Melanox". And payed. Cheaper is the Reborn-Classics CD-Bootleg or the official CD-Rerelease. ADRAMELCH (not to be confused with the Death Metal combo ADRAMELECH) also released one track on the obscure and great italian Sampler "Heavy Rendevouz" (a must to have!). After this releases the godlike ADRAMELCH disappeared - besides ASGARD and before DOOMSWORD by far the best, that our southern neighbour ever brought forth - and never was seen again.
